Tiered Commission Rates
The ASA2 Affiliate Program starts with a fixed commission rate of 30% for every successful sale generated via your affiliate link(s). In addition, Tiered Commission Rates allow you to get a higher rate the more successful referrals you generate. You can see it as a reward system for excellent employees.
Commission structure
When you begin as an ASA2 affiliate, your commission rate is 30%. After you have generated 50 sales, you will get 35%, after 100 sales, you get 40%, after 200 sales 45% and after your 300th sale your rate will be 50%!

120 Days Affiliate Cookie
An important aspect of an affiliate marketing program is the lifespan of the affiliate cookie. Every time someone clicks your affiliate link, a cookie is stored in their browser. If the purchase is not completed directly afterwards, but at a later date, you will still receive the commission if the cookie that leads back to your link still exists at this point in time. Thus, the longer the expiration date, the better for the affiliate marketer.
With 120 days, the ASA2 affiliate cookie has a comparatively high lifespan, which should be in the best interests of our affiliate partners. It means that even within 120 days after your link has been clicked, you will receive the commission if a purchase was made.
Lifetime / Recurring Commissions
With Lifetime Commissions, a customer gets linked to an affiliate, allowing the linked affiliate to receive a commission on all future purchases by the customer, including license renewals and upgrades. Since the affiliate and the customer are linked, the affiliate will still be awarded a commission even if the customer clears their browser cookies, uses a different computer or makes another purchase without using your link.
How it works
When a customer clicks on theASA2 affiliate’s referral URL and makes a purchase from the ASA2 store, they’re instantly linked to the affiliate. When the customer returns to make another purchase on the ASA2 store, the linked affiliate will receive a commission, even if they visit the ASA2 store directly, e.g. via the license reminder link from the plugin. A customer can only be linked to one affiliate at a time.
Additionally, if the customer ever uses a different email address while purchasing (logged in) or changes their email address from their WordPress profile, the new email address is stored with the linked affiliate.
Of course, affiliates can be linked to multiple customers.
Lifetime referrals will be marked in the affiliate dashboard to give you an overview of their quantity.
Lifetime Commissions is a big benefit of the ASA2 affiliate program, which not every affiliate program will offer its partners.
Custom Affiliate URL Slugs
On registration, each affiliate receives a unique ID, which is used as a characteristic in his/her affiliate URL in order to assign any sales that may be generated to him/her. For example, if you have ID 1234, your URL would look like this: getasa2.com/ref/1234
To be able to use some “prettier” URLs, you can also save an individual name (custom URL slug), which is used instead of the ID. For example, if you choose the name “MyWebsiteName“, your prettier URL will look like this: getasa2.com/ref/MyWebsiteName
This custom URL slug only supports alphanumeric characters and no special characters (also no underscores and no hyphens). The URL with the ID remains valid.
Campaign names
You can also give your URL a campaign name. If a purchase is generated via this link, the campaign name will be logged in your affiliate statistics. This allows you to retrospectively measure which campaigns worked particularly well.
